sooooooooooo new starting RPG storyline now! Create a character to your own liking and tell their story. consistently checking up the progress and fitting your character into the story evolving around it. By all means be random, and make it up as you go playing along to a zelda-type plotline.

Name: Arachide(pronounced Air-uh-sheed)
Location: Lost Woods
Race: Hylian
Age:19
Gender: F

We open to a clearing in the woods where a young hylian women is wandering lost. She had left the haven of her little village on the northern part of hyrule where she fell into a grotto and through a mysterious portal, leading her into the cool shadowy woods. She had never been within the woods but had heard many childhood stories of hoodlums in masks and lost stalfos' looking for revenge. When she realized that this was the very wood she feared, she prayed to the goddess' that she would not become a stalfos herself and would soon find her way home. She continues walking for hours before she finally reaches an edge of the forest. Far off she can see a small village with a crowded market with people coming and going, selling fish or potions. The harsh clanging of a blacksmiths shops can be heard over the crowd of the speculators gathering in the main square. By now it had begun to rain, and Arachide hurried to the blacksmiths shop so as to warm her hands on the hot coals.
"Where am i?" she had asked the blacksmith. He looked quite content despite the rain and looked at her with interest.
"You. my dear are in my shop, is there something you fancy in here?"
"No..," she replied, "i meant which town?"
"Ohh, well you are in the Kora village in the southern part of Ordonia. Where did you think you were?" he inquired.
She told him her tale of the woods and becoming lost. She kept the fear of the Stalfos to herself though, thinking it silly that she should believe such childish tales. He was a kind young man, not many years older than herself, he offered to take her to the village's bar knowing that Maya, the bartender keeps a map of the whole land on the wall. Along with spirits to keep them in good humor. And so they trekked through the mudd, her following his steps through the small market square where a growing crowd was forming at the base of one of the few buildings.
Arachide acknowledged that besides the bar, the only other full buildings had been an inn, the blacksmith's shop and a large temple-like building with a tower. A man stood at the temple gates making proclamations to the people of Ordonia and the passing travelers. every other shop was more of a stall with a small hut (belonging to the shop owner) behind. She realized the sun was just setting and twilight was upon them as she ducked out from the rain and into the warmth of the bar. For some reason she had an urgent craving for some rick milk.

Name: William , a lowly Knight of Hyrule. The king sometimes seeks to him for advice, and though he is a lowly rank, he has been around the king for a while, because his father was the Great General Destorm.
Location: Lost Woods
Race: Hylian
Age:18. he is going to be 19 in a few days, and will edit this when he does turn 19 :P
Gender: M

William frowned upon the task the King had assigned to him. Although he was happy to except this quest, so to say, he had never had to come to these Lost Woods. He was proud that the King had given him a job though, as it was an obvious honor to do something for the King. So William was going to keep his head high, whether he liked it or not. He had been staying at the Inn for a few days now, keeping his profile low, as the king had said would be wise.

He sighed in boredom, and looked out the window of his 3rd story room. He saw a beautiful girl walking into the bar, with the blacksmith, Killande, if he remembered the name correctly. He sat back down on his bed, sighing again. He never got anything he wanted, so why would things change now? He did not fret long at all though, remembering the more important task the king had trustingly assigned to him.

The king wanted him to come into the Lost Woods, and sit in this town, and watch for something suspicious. The king said he was not sure that what he expected would even happen, and that he could tell him no details. Apparently, whatever it was, he did not need to know unless it actually happened, and he would be better off not knowing. William thought about the conversation, and how the king had mumbled "Im sorry" as he was leaving the audience chamber. He thought about that for a second.

"Thats weird, I wonder why he would apologize", the knight pondered. He would of continued to think about this, but he had a knock at his door. He got up, and walked over to the door, and opened it in one swift motion. He though in his mind that he was surprised he didnt trip, and that he was surprised at his own grace. His thoughts were soon interrupted by the grouchy Innkeeper, Barsque. "Ye' ought to not sit around in mah room all doi. Why dont ye' go out in the town? See some sights?", Barsque asked, with a tone that suggested William would do nothing other than that.

"Well, see, the sights are kind of the same. I walked through a dung pile of woods to get here, and I dont really see anything to interesting in your wonderful town. Mind you, this this is a nice change from the Kingdom" William lied. He would much rather be back in his comfortable home in Hyrule. "Well, ye' cant set in here all day, the wife is starting to complain. Go to the bar or som'et!", Barsque bellowed. "Ok Ok, I wouldnt want to umm upset your wife." William hastily replied. "Well, nice and well, bec'aws I wa'nt about to le' that 'appen." Barsque started to pull and push William lightly into the hall.

William thought it would be best if he listened to the Innkeeper. He might start to lose his edge if he sat inside all day, anyway. He started to walk out of the Inn, to the bar. Not because thats what Brasque had suggested, but he figured he might as well do something he wanted to do. And besides, I might have some fun, William decided finally. He left the Inn, and walked towards the bar

****

The king of Hyrule sat on his throne, worried about what he had done.
He was not sure if William was up to the task he had assigned to him. He supposed that it was to late to do anything, and he knew in his heart that William would be ok. No matter if his fears came true, or not.....

The Artificer's Crest (1) Tour of Service Badge (4)
Name: Captain Darkhardt
Location: Lake Hylia
Age: 21
Race: Gerudo
Gender: Male

Aaron Folk was but a wee lad when his father left him and his mother. Aaron had always wanted to see his father again, just to tell him how far he'd come in his life. At the age of 14, he left home for the first time, and became a stowaway on a pirate's ship. The captain found him before setting sail, and scorned him for finding his way onto the ship. But before Aaron could run home, the captain tossed him a gold coin, and said, "I'll be seerin' ya in a couple of year' good lad!", and off into the seas he drifted. Aaron immediately ran home, and hid the coin in the 50th page of his favorite book. His unlucky number was 50. 50 is the age his dad was when he left. That was in 1650, on February 21st, the 50th day of the year.

Two years pass, and an ambitious Aaron Folk waits patiently for the Grand Hook to set sail in the harbor. Aaron waited for hours, and quite soon, day became afternoon, and afternoon fell to dusk. Never did the boat come. Days passed, followed by weeks, months, and eventually a whole year. No word of the Grand Hook came in. Aaron did then, what most would believe to be a death wish. Quietly, he waited in the attic of the forgery, looking only through a peephole, across from the docks. The captain of the Black Water had set anchor, and went to the pub with his crew, leaving about 20 or so behind for deck duties. Aaron stealthily made his way down from the attic, quietly out the front door, and untied the ship from the docks. The crew had no idea that Aaron was present as he made his way to the Wheelhouse. The ship started to sail, and the crew believed that this was only a short trip to the shore, as Aaron had watched them pull the sails down, letting the ship glide across the open water. But alas, the crew suspected something, so they went to find the captain. Aaron became brave, and locked them out of the wheelhouse, grabbing the captains' pistol off the desk for safety. A short while later, the horizon was the only visible thing left to see. The crew had no navigator to get back to shore, so they thought it would be best to continue sailing the open waters, this time with a new Captain. Captain Folk sounded too proper for Aaron's opinion, so right then and there, he'd began his legacy as Captain Darkhardt.
