William frowned upon the task the King had assigned to him. Although he was happy to except this quest, so to say, he had never had to come to these Lost Woods. He was proud that the King had given him a job though, as it was an obvious honor to do something for the King. So William was going to keep his head high, whether he liked it or not. He had been staying at the Inn for a few days now, keeping his profile low, as the king had said would be wise.
He sighed in boredom, and looked out the window of his 3rd story room. He saw a beautiful girl walking into the bar, with the blacksmith, Killande, if he remembered the name correctly. He sat back down on his bed, sighing again. He never got anything he wanted, so why would things change now? He did not fret long at all though, remembering the more important task the king had trustingly assigned to him.
The king wanted him to come into the Lost Woods, and sit in this town, and watch for something suspicious. The king said he was not sure that what he expected would even happen, and that he could tell him no details. Apparently, whatever it was, he did not need to know unless it actually happened, and he would be better off not knowing. William thought about the conversation, and how the king had mumbled "Im sorry" as he was leaving the audience chamber. He thought about that for a second.
"Thats weird, I wonder why he would apologize", the knight pondered. He would of continued to think about this, but he had a knock at his door. He got up, and walked over to the door, and opened it in one swift motion. He though in his mind that he was surprised he didnt trip, and that he was surprised at his own grace. His thoughts were soon interrupted by the grouchy Innkeeper, Barsque. "Ye' ought to not sit around in mah room all doi. Why dont ye' go out in the town? See some sights?", Barsque asked, with a tone that suggested William would do nothing other than that.
"Well, see, the sights are kind of the same. I walked through a dung pile of woods to get here, and I dont really see anything to interesting in your wonderful town. Mind you, this this is a nice change from the Kingdom" William lied. He would much rather be back in his comfortable home in Hyrule. "Well, ye' cant set in here all day, the wife is starting to complain. Go to the bar or som'et!", Barsque bellowed. "Ok Ok, I wouldnt want to umm upset your wife." William hastily replied. "Well, nice and well, bec'aws I wa'nt about to le' that 'appen." Barsque started to pull and push William lightly into the hall.
William thought it would be best if he listened to the Innkeeper. He might start to lose his edge if he sat inside all day, anyway. He started to walk out of the Inn, to the bar. Not because thats what Brasque had suggested, but he figured he might as well do something he wanted to do. And besides, I might have some fun, William decided finally. He left the Inn, and walked towards the bar

The king of Hyrule sat on his throne, worried about what he had done.
He was not sure if William was up to the task he had assigned to him. He supposed that it was to late to do anything, and he knew in his heart that William would be ok. No matter if his fears came true, or not.....
